The Greater Omaha Chamber and Opera Omaha are teaming up for ONE Night Only, a public, no-cost event designed to offer area young professionals a glimpse into the ground-breaking projects envisioned for Opera Omaha’s April 2018 ONE Festival.

ONE Night only, December 6, from 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. at KANEKO, will feature a presentation of the festival’s vision by ONE Festival Artistic Director, James Darrah, as well as opportunities for community engagement and involvement in support of the spring endeavor.

“Opera is for everyone, and we’re excited to kickoff ONE Festival planning with ONE Night Only,” said Opera Omaha General Director Roger Weitz. “ONE Festival, is a sweeping, community-wide artistic endeavor, an experience that will be a transformational and fascinating exploration of the arts.”

“We are beyond fortunate to have Roger and James’ vision driving ONE Festival,” said David G. Brown, president and CEO of the Greater Omaha Chamber. “Their approach to opera is revolutionary, and by extending a hand to area young professionals, Opera Omaha furthers the reach of this important art form in our region.”

ONE Night Only is free for young professionals, but an RSVP is required at https://operaomaha.org/community/upcoming-events/one-night-only.

ONE Night Only participants will be entered into a drawing for special prizes, including Opera Omaha tickets and a free ticket to the YP Summit in March. Guests must be 21 or older to attend.
