On May 25, 2022, the Omaha Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Council will hold its first INTRO event of 2022. INTRO is an annual YP event series aimed at introducing newcomers, life-long locals, or boomerangers—to all Omaha has to offer. The event will be held on the pool deck of the prestigious Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel.
The fun atmosphere will offer attendees an exciting night of activities and networking along with some light appetizers. There will also be yard games and other activities set up to help engage all who attend.
INTRO events are great opportunities for young professionals to meet new friends or build on existing friendships.
As mentioned the event will be hosted at the beautiful Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel which opened back in the spring of 2020. Located in the historic Blackstone District and formally known as Blackstone Hotel first opened in 1916 and was a key installation within the Blackstone District. Declared an Omaha Landmark and later was listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the building was used as office space for 30 years until it was reopened as Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel. The pool deck was first utilized in the summer of 2021 and was one of the “must visit” attractions in Omaha.
