“When you volunteer to do something, at least give it your all.” – Phil Moyer, vice president-business banking, First National Bank; longtime President’s Club volunteer; 18-year member of the Chairman’s Circle
Time flies when you’re having an impact. I began volunteering with the President’s Club in 1998. I’m proud to say my contributions have earned some recognition over the years, including 18 years in the Chairman’s Circle and an Honorary Life Membership award. For me, it comes down to the belief – when you volunteer to do something, at least give it your all.
I don’t know how many memberships I’ve helped bring in – I’m sure those numbers are stored somewhere.
More important to me is knowing that I’m supporting an organization that is working to elevate the quality of life in our community.
That’s something First National Bank values – supporting our local communities – and it is something that I value personally.
Beyond that, giving my all with the President’s Club (PC) has given me a lot of personal fulfillment. Through my years of involvement, I’ve met other dedicated business people, expanded my personal and professional network, and enhanced my sales skills. Plus, it’s been a lot of fun.
Are you looking for an avenue to get involved – one that offers great opportunities for professional and business development, incentives, and some great outings?
Think about join us in the President’s Club. It’s the perfect spot for the up-and-comer who needs exposure, development and experience dealing with companies of all sizes. It’s a great way of expanding your network, strengthening the Chamber and possibly opening some new doors for yourself. In other words, it’s community involvement that sells itself. I hope to see you at one of our future meetings.
